Forty years later and I'm still living in Silver Spring, not far from Springbrook. It's been a convenient place to live and raise 2 boys, now 28 and 24, although neither went to Springbrook. I've been married to Ronette for 30 years. I'm still in touch with a few friends from middle and high school days and run into several more, occasionally. No knees and a balky back limit my athletic activities but I still have a few hobbies that occupy my time and energy, notably photography and dog agility.
