In the forty years since our graduation from Springbrook, the single greatest thing in my life was my marriage to Pat in 1984. There are so many tremendous memories, such as walking across England, walking Offa’s dyke (an ancient wall/trench between England and Wales), exploring Peru and walking to Machu Picchu, biking south Island New Zealand, biking through the Sonoma and Napa valleys, exploring Mesa Verde, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Tetons, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and many more. When we are at home, I enjoy carpentry. I’ve spent many hours remodeling our home and doing other building projects.
I had a great 37 years working for the Department of Defense and retired 3 years ago. Today I’m serving as the President of our Dog Club. We own two Golden Retrievers who are competing in Agility, Flyball, Dock Diving, Freestyle Obedience (“Dancing with your dog”), and now Triebball. We are still actively walking; own a 33 foot travel trailer; tend a large garden; and are having a great time.
