Hi! I live in Scottsdale AZ and have been married 43 years to my husband, Howie, whom I met at the University of Maryland. I have a BS in Education and a MS in Gifted Education.. I now have my own Gifted Education consulting company, Robin’s Resources, LLC. I have lived in Israel where I attended Hebrew University of Jerusalem, volunteered on a kibbutz, and worked on an archaeological dig. We have lived at the Grand Canyon where Howie was a park ranger and I worked at the visitor center. Howie recently retired from 30 years as a Physician Associate in Urologic Surgery at The Mayo Clinic Arizona. We have 2 amazing kids. My son is a mechanical engineer who can fix just about anything and enjoys playing baseball, kickball and volleyball. My daughter has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, ran track in college and continues to enjoy running. My daughter’s husband is a Director in Finance and an avid mountain biker. I have had rescue bunnies as pets for over 40 years. I have taught K-3 in TX, CA and AZ, and also worked as a gifted specialist at middle school. While my kids were growing up, I volunteered in classrooms with my guitar to teach the students songs about their studies. Now I volunteer by baking birthday cakes for foster children for an organization named ForgoodnesscakesAZ. My family hikes, mountain bikes, camps, plays Pickleball & reads a lot. Amazingly enough, I am still in touch w some Springbrook people. So “Hi” to my Hearts playing friends, my speed reading friends, my artist friends, and those basketball players who were nice to me, friends.
